Who we are

What information we collect

Clients: names, job titles, business contact details and information about the roles you ask us to recruit for.

Candidates: your name, contact details, CV, employment history, qualifications, salary expectations and any other information you choose to share with us, or that is publicly available on professional networks such as LinkedIn.

Website visitors: information you send us through the enquiry form or by email.

How we use your information

To provide recruitment, headhunting, executive search and HR support services; to match candidates with suitable opportunities; to introduce candidates to clients with their agreement; to respond to enquiries; and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

Use of artificial intelligence

We use AI tools to support parts of our work — for example to draft and structure recruitment briefs, to organise research and to help prepare written material. The "Ask Us" assistant on our website answers questions using information published on this site.

If you use the Brief Builder, the vacancy details you enter are sent to an AI service so that it can produce a brief for you. Please describe the role rather than a named individual, and avoid including personal data about other people.

We do not use AI to screen, rank, filter or reject candidates. Every CV and application is read and assessed by a person. No decision about whether you are suitable for a role, whether to put you forward to a client, or whether to keep your details on file is made by an automated system.

No automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects takes place, and we do not profile candidates to decide their suitability. If our use of AI changes in a way that affects candidates, we will update this policy before it applies.

Our lawful basis

We rely on legitimate interests to identify and approach suitable candidates and to run our business, on contract to deliver our services to clients, on consent where we ask for it (for example before sharing your CV with a client), and on legal obligation where the law requires us to keep records.

Sharing your information

We only share candidate details with prospective employers once you have agreed. We may use trusted service providers (such as email and IT providers) who process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards. We never sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as it is needed for the purposes above. Candidate records are reviewed regularly and removed when no longer relevant, or sooner if you ask us to.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict how we use it, to withdraw consent at any time and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email ciara@hirequalitytalent.co.uk.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
